Letters from Home~

This page was created to give adopters of our animals a place to brag about their new family members and share stories and photos~

From Sam’s adoptive family:

Dear Caroline,
Logan and I want to take a few minutes to let you know that Sam is doing great. He has taken up with Logan follows him around, crys when he leaves and is full of himself when Logan returns. He does me the same way, when we return its all about sugars. Sam still loves to romp and play with Landan, I think Sam loves to hear Landan’s giggle. They suit each othr perfectly both so full of energy. Sam and Stewie are getting used to each other also. they are at a crossroads it seems, they are finally starting to just leave each other be. every now and then the “You two be good ” doesnt work and Sam will chase Stewie down the hall. so far we havent seen any fur fly from either of them. I think its hard for Stewie because he’s used to Lady. she hardly ever bothered him. Sam is alot more curious though. He has adjusted very well I think. He eats good and he sleeps very well up on the back of the couch behind Logan. We cant thank you enough for bringing Sam into our lives. He is a blessing to us all.
thanks again, Karen, Sarah, Logan, Landan

From Sparkles adoptive family:

Caroline,

Sparkles and I wanted to wish you a Happy Holiday!! Sparkles is quite a handful. She doesn’t seem “old” anymore…in fact, she is always getting into things and running around (she’s quite energetic!) But we will take her with all her faults and still love her. She is kind of comical sometimes. I’m glad we were able to save her. I hope some of your other dogs can have new homes in the New Year!

Keep up the good work….and Sparkles says Thank you for giving me another chance!

Glade spring,va~ 10 year old female chi dumped by her owners the day before Thanksgiving~
Aspen is a 10+ year old female chi. She was surrendered by her owners on Wed. ( how nice of them to give her something to be thankful for). Because she was waivered Aspen will be one of the first to be killed when space becomes needed.

If you can give this gentle old soul a lap to lay on for the rest of her days please email us at savingfurryfriends@yahoo.com
